Trick or Treating?

If your little one is to small for candy (or you want to pare down a little on the sugar front), you can trick or treat for UNICEF. Just pick up a free orange box at Pier 1, Ikea, or online.

Here is where your collection can go:

30ยข provides lifesaving antibiotics for a child suffering from pneumonia.

$1 immunizes a child against the deadly disease measles.

$2.50 buys basic school supplies for one child.

$10 provides enough high-protein biscuits to feed three hungry children for one month.

$150 pays for a small well to provide clean water for an entire village.

After Katrina, the earthquake in Pakistan, flooding in Central America and Mexico, this is an important year to do all we can to help children around the world. Organize your playgroups, schools, churches, and other organizations to work together to help as you see fit.

Pamper Your Little One (and Yourself!)

Just visiting the Spabox website makes me feel more relaxed! What a great place to find items to pamper yourself, your baby, or a fellow new mom.

The super cute baby line Little Twig is on sale! These are gentle, natural products that nurture the skin of little ones.

Feeling like you need a little pampering yourself? Spabox has tons of great kits to give you a boost.

Or, get ahead on your holiday shopping and pick out some things for loved ones. Since shipping is free for orders over $100, you may need to throw a few things in the cart for yourself anyway!

Are You Hungry?

Working on losing that baby weight? Or maybe that "post-baby no-sleep need-energy hanging-around-the-house" weight? You gotta check out Hungry-Girl.com. Tons of tips and needed humor will help guide you through the world of calories, fat grams, carbs and all that.

Best tip for me so far was Minute Maid Light lemonade (in cartons in the refrigerated section). SO good and only 15 calories per serving. Tastes even better mixed with half water, IMHO. Bye Bye Diet Coke!
